As the effect of climate change became more widely published, we identified plastic as one of the key contributors to environmental pollution. In 2016 we changed our business model and made a shift from plastic packing to environmentally friendly packaging that was recyclable. Our use of recycling packaging has been both economically and environmentally friendly. We believe that caring for the environment is not any single person or organization’s role but a collective effort.
With this in mind, we have reached out to our business partners and clientele, asking them to make recycling a conscious decision and limiting the use of plastic. However, we understand that some people and organizations can’t fully eliminate the use of plastic. In the event that this is the case, we encourage the use of recyclable plastic doing this will cut down the amount of plastic waste in the environment. Encouraging our clients on good waste management makes them conscious of how they dispose of waste and makes them less likely to litter. Most businesses hesitate on embracing eco-friendly packaging since it comes at a high cost. Some don’t have the financial capacity to make eco-friendly packaging a priority of which is understandable. However, waste management is something that every person or business can embark on effectively.
