What I eat day to day as a Vegan

I don’t do a lot of different stuff in my life, as I work at home and my social group is around Paris. As going to Paris isn’t always possible, I spend almost all my life at home so my life is mostly online. Working on Internet allows me to have a bit more free time as I don’t waste time going to work. I could say Netflix and my kitchen are currently my best friends as I get bored easily so I like to cook and watch some series.

Vitamin D is so good for you.  A research team led by Anastassios G. Pittas, MD, MS, Endocrinologist and Co-Director of the Diabetes Center at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, has received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant of more than $40 million over five years to conduct the Vitamin D and Type 2diabetes (D2d) study.* D2d is a nationwide clinical trial to determine if vitamin D supplementation can reduce the likelihood of developing type 2 diabetes in people who are at high risk for this serious metabolic disorder.

Food, Vitamin B12 & Life in General

Vegan Hunk Burger

Living my life as a vegan is really easy because I don’t often leave my house and when I do I don’t eat outside. Even when I’m leaving for the entire day, as it’s always to go to a convention or something like it, my stomach just block itself so I just get a little thirsty during the day and nothing else. But when I come back home, I get really hungry. I seriously don’t know why my stomach blocks itself, maybe it’s because of my anxiety (funny, right?) but

New approach to your Diet Intake and Reverse Insulin Resistance Part 2

Measuring insulin and sugar levels after eating confirms this impact with higher carbohydrate meals consistently producing higher peaks in glucose and then insulin response – usually followed by a sharp fall with a hypoglycemic response. Hence the common experience of sudden hunger around 10:30 to 11:00 am having eaten a cereal based breakfast first thing. Many studies have demonstrated that low carbohydrate diets have better outcomes in comparison to low fat diets, consistently reducing glucose levels more, reducing insulin levels by up to 50% more and creating greater weight loss,

New approach to your Diet Intake and Reverse Insulin Resistance part 1

It is astonishing to me how out of touch so much of the current dietary advice is available to people in the media and other platforms. However it is important to avoid becoming too dogmatic and there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to diet. Some of the recent research has shown us that there can be very considerable variations in post-eating blood sugar response to identical meals in different people.

Wheat allergy, who me? YES YOU

Gluten Free

With sales of foods labeled gluten free now reaching over 6 billion dollars a year, something truly profound is happening to the way in which Americans are perceiving the role of wheat in their diets. Once celebrated as the very poster-child of the health food movement, folks are increasingly rejecting this “king of grains,” and are now identifying it as being at the very root of their health problems.Detractors claim that the movement is just a fad, or worse, that those who have embarked upon it without an official diagnosis are a bit crazy. After all, simply “feeling

The importance of Vitamin B12 as a Vegan

Body By Nature Vitamin B12

I went vegan on 1st August of 2016. It’s a precise date because it was planned, as I was at my father’s until 31st July and he’s not okay at all with veganism. So when I came back home (at my mother’s) I directly went vegan. I started to learn how to cook during August but as soon as I entered my last year of high school I couldn’t cook a lot as I was always at school to prepare my graduation and final exam. As I passed my exam
