Living Life as a Vegan Update

Living Life as a Vegan

Wednesday 21st

I was so busy (and still am) that my headache doesn’t want to leave me anymore. I always working so it’s normal but now even setting my laptop on night light doesn’t do anything.
Anyways I had so much work and not enough time so I did something fast, I threw some vegetables on the stove while some black rice noddles cooked and also used some leftover (soy) cream mushrooms and put everything in a bento I bought at a Japanese library in Paris.

Thursday 22nd

I recently found a chia seeds pudding recipe and I wanted to try it so I did. It’s only chia seeds and vegan milk combined so the chia seeds absorb the liquid and the texture is not milky but not solid either. I put a bit of chocolate in it but I can’t really taste it but it doesn’t really matter because it already tastes good. I had a little problem with it though, it was supposed to be ready after 4 hours spent in the fridge but after 4 hours it was still super liquid so I put it in the freezer for 1 hour and then put it in the fridge so it could get the normal consistency.

While I was making my pudding I had my lunch cooking: rice noodles, some vegetables and some chickpeas.Living Life as a Vegan

Friday 23rd

Today I woke up feeling a bit sick, like my throat was a bit sore. Now I’m just hoping it will pass and I didn’t catch anything but a cold.
Anyways it’s Friday and for this day I have my little morning routine: I was super tired so I slept until 11:00 but when I woke up, I immediatley left my bed (I deactivate Internet on my phone at night so I don’t get any spoilers in my notifications) and went to my laptop to watch the new episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 (airs at 8 pm in USA so in the middle of the night in France) and then I can reactivate my phone’s wifi.

To be honest, I can’t wait for All Stars to be finished and Season 10 of the regular show to start because All Stars seasons are with contestants who already participated in the regular show so we know them and already love them so much so being emotionally involved in a reality TV show is quite mentally exhausting.

Living Life as a VeganSo after I finished watching the episode I was still feeling sleepy and sick so I spent some time watching some videos on youtube and finally decided to cook around 14:00 . I was so lazy and a bit dizzy so I did something really simple: rice noodles, mushrooms, chickpeas and bell pepper. I used frozen mushrooms and leftover chickpeas so cutting the bell pepper was the only effort I had to make. I cooked enough for 2 servings so this is my lunch and dinner.
