Booking my trip to see RuPaul

vegan diet

Tuesday 13th
So yesterday I was looking for an affordable hotel but even the cheapest was still too expensive for me considering I have to buy 2 train tickets and they are super expensive. So, I ended up booking a bed in a youth hostel in a room with 3 beds. I don’t really mind being a room with 2 strangers, I just won’t talk as I’m not really a social person, I like meeting people IVL and then meet them IRL when we really know each other. But I’m going alone to show in a 1000 places venue and everything is sold out, so sleeping in the same room as 2 people won’t kill me. Especially when I’ll be there around 22h30/23h and I’ll have to leave before 10h the next morning, I’ll probably take the 9h56 train. The hotel I found first was in the east of Paris and cost 70€ for a night, so I would have had to take the subway from the train station to the hotel and another subway to go to the venue but with the youth hostel it will be easier as it’s next to the train station so I can walk and the youth hostel and venue are on the same line of the subway and the station is like 5 minutes away from the hostel so I really won’t have to walk a lot and I’m really happy about it because it’ll be dark and I’ll be alone.
While I’m wrting this I’m listening to two songs in loop, How Much Can’t by Willam and Mean Gays by Courtney Act. They were both contestants in RuPaul’s Drag Race and Courtney Act was on (and won) Celebrity Big Brother UK 2018! I discovered drag queens with RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2015 and I’ve been a huge fan since then, as I myself am a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Actually my iTunes is filled with drag queens’ albums, Marilyn Manson and some bands like DADAROMA and the GazettE. The last one has been my favourite band since 2011 and they (literally) changed my life.
So anyways today I was lazy so I just heated up some leftover corn and pastas, cooked some beans and put that in a bowl with spinach and arugula and some sauce. I don’t have any lemon juice left but just lemons so as I was too lazy I just drank some plain green tea, it’s tasty too but I prefer it with lemon juice as I love the combination of flavours and the colour of the tea is prettier.

For dinner I cooked some Algerian couscous adapted to a vegan diet (I’m 100% white-passing but I’m actually Algerian on my father’s side) but I didn’t have any chickpeas so it was sad but I still did it. Obviously I had to make it extra spicy as it’s supposed to be. I didn’t even have the chance to take a picture as my sister arrived and destroyed it before I had any chances to take the photo.
