Coke is the most valuable brand in history, and “Coca-Cola” is the world’s second-most recognized word after “hello.” However, the beverage itself is an absolute poison to the human metabolism. Coke is very close to the acidity level of battery acid and consequently it can clean surfaces equivalent to and often better than many toxic household cleaners. It’s cheaper and easier to buy Coke in some third world countries than it is to access clean water. Coke uses “public relations propaganda” to convince consumers and entire nations that it is an “environmental company” when really it is linked to pollution, water shortages, and disease.
Worrying Concerns Over Coca Cola

- In 2010 Reurers reported a study of men who drank more than 32 ounces of coca cola a day could reduce their sperm count by nearly 30 percent
- The Food and Drug Administration found that colas are closest in pH level to vinegar – between 2.0 and 3.4. Rats that consumed coca cola saw an increase in secretion of stomach enzymes, which are used to balance pH
- 12 ounces of Coca Cola contains 64mg of caffeine. Many of us rely on caffeine to keep us alert but too much caffeine is dangerous as it can constrict arteries and veins and boosts heart rates
Doctors and Nutritional experts have deep concerns over consuming large amounts of soft drinks. 12 ounces of Coca Cola contains 39 grams of sugar. This short sharp burst of energy leads to a crash or decline in stamina as the sugar is quickly absorbed and burned by the body for energy. People who consume soft drinks such as Coke have a 48% increase in heart attack and stroke risk, compared to people who did not drink the sodas at all or did not drink them every day. A study published in the journal Respirology reveals that soft drink consumption is also associated with lung and breathing disorders including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Cola Propaganda
Soaring profits for the company allows the corporation to bribe and market their way to a positive image. A recent report found that the company pays nutritionists and fitness experts to recommend drinking its soda as a healthy snack. The experts then suggested that sipping on a mini-can of coke could aid in your healthy diet. Coca-cola are working with health experts to promote the surgary soda which has been consistently criticised for contributing to America’s obesity problem.
