Taking obesity seriously

Where do YOU want to be in 1 years time? One In Five Americans Die Of Obesity Says Health Report We know that obesity in the UK is a real problem and the UK has became the capital of the obesity problem, but now it has been reported that America has an even bigger problem with obesity resulting in 18% of all deaths of men and women aged between 40 and 85.

Obesity in America has always been a big problem but health experts were hoping that with all the money that has been put into promoting healthy eating in America and making people aware about obesity, that the obesity trend would be on the decline. (What planet are these ‘health experts’ on?) Although obesity in America for children is dropping, the same cannot be said for obesity in Adults.

The report published by American Journal of Public Health have said that one in five people who die in America are dying from obesity related illness, this has now worried health officials. (Bit late for that, worrying about it isn’t going to change anything anytime soon is it?) These new results into the obesity problem in America have come a a shock to health professional with the new results being three times higher than expected. (Whoo, well there’s a surprise eh?)

Health professionals in America are now looking at more ways to get the message across that OBESITY IS KILLING PEOPLE. (Really – you don’t say! Well whoopee do.) It has been reported that unless something is done and more education is given then obesity in America could be responsible for 2 in five deaths. (So what do you propose then, Health Professionals? Forget it, you’ve done a c*** job so far. You go and have a nice lie down now, don’t fuss yourself.) It is important that we start taking obesity seriously and start to look after our health and lose weight.
