This blog post is about a young girl called Emma. Emma from the age of 6 months has suffered from\u00a0Psoriasis. Her type of Psoriasis was the red weeping kind which left her skin red raw from head to feet. As any caring parent would, they took her immediately to the Doctors and in turn received cream and pills to try.<\/p>\n
None of the prescribed treatments worked, some even made the condition worse and the skin more flared. The doctors recommended taking her to a medical professional who pumped the young girls body full of powerful drugs including an immune suppressant and chemotherapy.<\/p>\n
As you can guess, after a six month period of being exposed to such powerful drugs, she became infected with the life-threatening Staphylococcus which was triggered by the medication \u00a0( Enbrel )\u00a0the medical practitioners had placed her on. At no time did the Doctors or the medical professionals ever ask the question, about the diet Emma was on. What kind of food or drinks she was consuming. Could it be so easy as to ask that question?<\/p>\n
Rather than asking the parents if Emma had ever had a reaction to any food, they carried on pumping her with powerful drugs in the hope one would work. Now I have to make it clear, that I have a big respect for the NHS and medical professionals, and would want to be taken straight to a hospital should the need arise.<\/p>\n
